Our IMPACT Program Setup Package Includes:

Platform Integration/Onboarding – Before a brand can launch on Impact, an onboarding process must be completed, which includes the setup of several key program features. Doing so ensures the program will meet the minimum requirements for tracking reliability while also meeting the needs of top-tier partners.  The degree to which program features and branding components have been strategically implemented will have a direct impact on partner recruitment and engagement. While these steps can be completed internally, many program features offered through Impact require experiential knowledge to execute. Onboarding action items include:

  • Signup Page/Marketplace Optimization – Your customizable signup page and marketplace listing is where partners get their first impression of your program, and should be used to showcase your brand and offering in a strong light. Not just an “About Us” page, prospective partners want to know what makes a brand offering different from the competition.
  • Email Communications & Workflows – There are many ongoing instances for utilizing Impact’s messaging tools with prospective and current affiliates. The setup of strategic automations and email workflows engages partners in the ways that matter most.
  • Partner Groups/Segments – Used in conjunction with automations, establishing partner group assignments to streamline effective communication with partners based on size, type, contract stage and performance conditions, ensures each partner is being catered to for their specific needs and the needs of the brand.
  • Template Terms – There are many variables to consider using within a brands template terms, including conditions-based payout structures using a wide variety of programmable events. Want to limit coupon code usage to specific sets of partners. Partner groupings and exception lists can be built into fully customizable template terms.
  • Reporting/Visualizations – With over 100 performance and financial report options, benchmark analysis and a data lab to create custom visualizations, strategically optimizing one’s reporting dashboard is vital in tracking brand-specific KPI’s and milestones, identifying growth opportunities, and improving partner performance.
  • PPC Policy – To avoid unintended PPC campaign setbacks, it is vital that all merchant PPC policies are made clear and that PPC activity is monitored to help prevent any cannibalization of your brands additional marketing channels.
  • Affiliate Agreement – This is the legal binding agreement that affiliates must agree to when joining your program. Policies regarding commission rules, coupon use, PPC bidding and trademark usage (among others), can be disclosed in custom agreements outside of Impact’s general terms.
  • Creative – While this is not mandatory for launching your program, we highly recommend an offering of engaging product/brand creative in the most relevant and mobile friendly dimensions preferred by partners.
  • Text Link/Banner Upload – Strategically uploading text links (category and product links) and banners with proper attributes, query tags and custom partner parameters will ensure more seamless reporting with internal analytics.
  • Product Feed Integration – Depending on each brands eCommerce platform, product feed configurations should be implemented to give partners the ability to search specific products to promote while being kept abreast with accurate inventory status.
  • Global Commission Rules – Configuring both global and custom commission rules, and linking with template terms and partner groupings ensures proper attribution and that commission payouts are contingent with touchpoint patterns in referred sales, while protecting margins from being skimmed.
  • Tracking Code Installation – A base minimum of order variables (i.e. Order ID, amount, date etc) are required to be tracked, however, there are many additional variables and custom parameters can be utilized for more robust reporting and attribution rules.

In many respects, this is the tip of the iceberg of what Impact is capable of providing brands. Many other functionalities and integrations are available, depending on each brands particular needs. For example, app integration with Sales Force and HubSpot are available…
